Although the Cibubur area has a low earthquake risk based on SNI 1726:2019, earthquake impact analysis in construction design remains crucial. Many building collapses due to earthquakes are often caused by a lack of understanding of earthquake resistance principles in their design and implementation. Thus, in-depth structural analysis is crucial to ensure the building can withstand various types of loads, including dynamic loads due to earthquakes. This study aims to analyze the vertical components of the Cibubur Special Sports School Building using the Response Spectrum Analysis method. The specific objectives are to measure the values ??of shear forces and displacements in columns due to earthquakes, as well as the comparison of column reinforcement. Data were collected through literature review and technical data collection such as shop drawings. The analysis conducted using ETABS V.18.1.1 software showed that the highest shear forces in the second-floor columns reached 1615.402 kN (X direction) and 1482.65 kN (Y direction). The current displacement caused by the earthquake is 309,071 mm (X-direction) and 285,402 mm (Y-direction). The K1 column reinforcement ratio of 2.47% is within the limits permitted by SNI 2847-2019. Penelitian ini membandingkan efisiensi struktur baja profil Wide Flange (WF) dan Honeycomb pada proyek pembangunan Ballroom Whiz Trawas, Mojokerto, dengan fokus pada kekuatan lentur, berat total, dan biaya material. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif melalui pemodelan struktur<br />menggunakan perangkat lunak SAP2000 dan perhitungan manual berdasarkan standar SNI 1729:2020 dan ASCE 7. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profil Honeycomb mampu mengurangi berat struktur tanpa mengorbankan kekuatan lentur secara signifikan. Namun, dari segi kapasitas lentur dan kemudahan pemasangan, profil WF tetap unggul. Evaluasi efisiensi biaya menunjukkan bahwa Honeycomb lebih ekonomis dalam kondisi tertentu. Hal ini menyebabkan kurangnya fasilitas yang memadai dan lengkap sehingga<br />aktivitas yang dapat dilakukan oleh umat beragama Buddha di Kota Surabaya untuk<br />memperoleh informasi serta melakukan kegiatan peribadatan menjadi terbatas. Oleh karena<br />itu, dengan adanya perencanaan dan perancangan Buddhist Center di Kota Surabaya dengan<br />pendekaan Arsitektur Simbolis akan memberikan kemudahan bagi umat Buddha khususnya<br />di Kota Surabaya untuk mewadahi segala aktivitas keagamaan dalam wilayah yang strategis.<br />Metode desain yang digunakan menggunakan metode Donna P. Duerk dengan proses yang<br />meliputi fact, issue, goal, performance requirements dan concept. Tema arsitektur simbolis<br />diwujudkan melalui bentuk bangunan yang berbentuk stupa sebagai lambang agama Buddha<br />yang mudah ditangkap oleh masyarakat. Stupa sebagai lambang yang bermakna pencerahan<br />juga memberikan kesan dan ciri khas yang mudah ditangkap secara visual dalam<br />mendeskripsikan fungsi dari bangunan.
